Enrichment is all about developing your personal and social skills and broadening your experiences at Post 16 alongside your academic qualifications.
You will have the opportunity to take part in a wide range of enrichment activities. These are provided to ensure that you leave our Post 16 with more than just excellent grades. Additional qualifications are designed to help you stand out from the crowd and become fully equipped for life after Post 16. The activities we offer allow you to gain skills in new areas and develop existing skills which will support HE or your chosen career path.
The Progression Module and EPQ also aid to help give our students an advantage by gaining extra UCAS points, practise and experiences to better prepare them for Higher Education, apprentices and employment.
To further develop your experiences, there is the opportunity to arrange office weekly work experience placements in a specialised area to support future courses.
We care deeper than just helping obtain the best grades, we have programmes in place to improve the physical fitness, health and well-being of our students. Covering a range of activities including practical sports and learning new skills such as CPR and other first aid. This would be beneficial for anyone wanting to understand their own health and lifestyle and learn new ways to manage it better to be fitter and healthier.

In Post 16 many students rise to the challenge of leadership roles. Such roles include Head Boy and Head Girl, mentoring lower school students and running sports clubs. Assuming leadership roles at an early age teaches students, the skills needed to make effective leaders. The attributes gained by participating in these opportunities help prepare the students for the many different paths available after Post 16 at Immanuel College. Leadership experience is also a great thing to write about in your UCAS application!

Without the students’ views and opinions, we may never be aware of issues or problems that they are encountering. This system is crucial for the continued development and improvement of the school.
