ITT provision
At Immanuel College we are committed to nurturing and developing colleagues who are entering a career in secondary education.
We are proud to host trainees from a variety of local and national ITT providers, ensuring the highest quality support is given to all trainees.
The BDAT ITT program offered as part of the BDAT trust; provides hands on experience. As a trainee you can expect to experience teaching in 2 contrasting secondary schools, your practice will be rooted in pedagogy and research, implemented within the school's context. Every trainee will have a subject specialist mentor, trainees have a dedicated hour of one-to-one support where methods of deliberate practice are used to support ITT development from which ITT trainees can create a learning environment where students flourish and children show perseverance, develop character and have hope.
Our ITT CPD program is bespoke, meeting the needs of the ITT cohort, providing a context for Immanuel College in addition to supporting the strengths and areas of development highlighted by experienced mentors.
