France 2024
42 students had the amazing opportunity to soak up some French culture on our Yr 10 "Le Touquet" trip. The students were fantastic and were open to trying the snails and even had the chance to milk goats! The students embraced new things by learning how to make bread in a typical boulangerie, students also visited living museum 'St Joseph's Village' and the 'Blockhaus' Experience WW2 V2 rocket bunker museum. The students were there 7 days in total, visiting Boulogne, Montreuil and Calais. Students also spent the day in Bruges, making authentic Belgian chocolate followed by a reflective visit to the Basilica of the Holy Blood. One of our highlights was the exhilarating day at the Parc Asterix theme park near Paris. All students had an unforgettable experience.
