Year 9 Pathways
Y9 students are supported with their pathways choices during the summer term. At this time, students and parents/carers will be provided with bespoke written information as well as the opportunity to discuss any queries or concerns with a senior member of staff.
Students are supported to recognise their areas of particular strength and interest, allowing them to select subject areas and course types which will lead to success in their GCSE and BTEC examinations.
We offer a wide range of subject and course types for students to choose from, ensuring high levels of engagement during their key stage 4 studies and allowing students to progress to further education such as Post 16 study or apprenticeship.
For more information about the list of courses that we provide in both key stage 3 and key stage 4, please view our Year 9 options booklet below or click here for our curriculum policy.
