Vietnam 2024
This year Immanuel College was fortunate enough to secure Turning Scheme government funding. Vietnam was the destination chosen to provide students with a once-in-a-lifetime travel experience. Over 80 applications were received and 26 lucky 16–17-year-old students were selected. The Trip involved spending two days at a Vietnamese school where students engaged in team-building activities, sports, and academic sessions.
Alongside this cultural exchange, students visited the War Remnants Museum, The Freedom Palace, Cu Chi Tunnels, markets, Buddhist temples followed by a day at the beach. Our students have remained in contact with their 'buddies' from the exchange school and all participants are excited to travel more in the future. We hope to arrange more trips in the future to ensure our students develop personally and socially during their time at Immanuel College.
