Welcome from the Headteacher
Welcome to the post-16 section of our website.
You are at the stage in your education when you have to make some very difficult decisions. What subjects should you study Post-16? Should you stay in school or look elsewhere? The decisions that you make over the coming weeks and months are potentially lifechanging and will certainly affect what you end up doing when you are 18 and older.
Here at Immanuel, we are incredibly proud of our outstanding Post-16 provision. We are fully inclusive, with courses on offer to suit all interests and abilities. Our enviable examination results for A levels and BTECs are consistently well above the national and local average. If you become a Post-16 student at Immanuel you will benefit from the highest quality of teaching, individual pastoral support, state-of-the-art facilities and a multitude of fantastic leadership and enrichment opportunities. You will also receive expert guidance in careers and higher education, and we will provide full support throughout the UCAS process for those students who wish to apply to University.
The website should enable you to find out plenty of information about our provision, but please follow the link to our prospectus, within which you will find even more detail about what all our courses have to offer.
I am delighted that you are considering Immanuel Post-16 and I wish you every success in making the right decision!
Mr S Mulligan

Message from the Chair of Governors
Thank you for your interest in Immanuel College.
Immanuel prides itself on being a welcoming, hardworking, lively and caring environment for our students to learn and develop. The Headteacher and staff are totally committed to the provision of a first class all round education for all our students. We firmly believe that every child is special and must be treated as such, as a Church of England School our Christian ethos underpins all that we do. We uphold the Christian values and teach our students about consideration of others, respect and responsibility.
There is a highly productive relationship between the Governors, Headteacher and staff. As Governors we support and challenge the work of the school to ensure high standards and as a team we do not rest on our laurels, but are always seeking ways to build on our
successes, to improve and continually develop.
This website and our prospectus gives you a flavour of the school, which we hope you will find useful, and we warmly invite you to visit and see our Post-16 in action.
Mrs D Sterling, the Chair of Governors
